CX9000
Single-cartridge technology for true bottled-water quality.
0.5 micron filtration: Extra capacity for removal of particulates, oxidized metals, asbestos and cysts.
0.5 gallons / minute: Flow rate for dedicated applications and through separate faucet at sink.
1500 gallon cartridge capacity per NSF certification (assuming all contaminants certified for reduction are actually present at test protocol levels).
Bottom line: What does it take out?
NSF-certified for near total reduction of Chlorine Taste and Odor, Particulates Class I, cysts (including Giardia, Cryptosporidium and Entamoeba).
Also: Oxidized iron, manganese and sulfides; asbestos fibers.
How does it work?
1. Through Everpure’s exclusive precoat process, water flow automatically coats the unique filter membrane with Micropure®, a proprietary blend of extremely fine activated carbon.
2. Ultrafiltration Membrane Chamber flow removes virtually all (at least 999 parts per thousand) particulates down to 0.5 micron.

What’s the difference between the CX9000 and the TX9000?
Spectrum of contaminant removal: The TX takes out everything the CX does, but is also NSF-certified to reduce THMs and VOCs.
Capacity: The CX is rated for 1500 gallons, the TX for 500 gallons. (The tradeoff: Higher capacity = Narrower reduction spectrum) Does that matter? If you don’t need to remove VOCs or THMs, save money by using the CX – it will last longer than the TX, because the CX is a single-chamber system with twice as much space allocated purely to particle removal.
